Commands

Open the pane, control routing and keep the session’s costs in view.

CommandWhat you can do
/iqOpen the pane: Home, Routing, Cost, Plan and Settings. Use keys 1–5 to change tabs.
/iq feedbackOpen bug, feature and routing question links with five diagnostic values.
/iq-route onTurn routing on for this session. Needs a usable IQ key, and IQ Code routing needs the Personal plan. Routing starts off in every new session.
/iq-route offStop routing for this session. Keep using the local meter and pane.
/iq-route statusRead the current routing state and any reason it cannot run.
/iq-route resetRequest a fresh routing decision for your next prompt.
/cost-readOpen measured cost for the current session, in API-equivalent dollars.

Set a task budget

/iq-budget 5 usd
/iq-budget status
/iq-budget off

Set a session task budget in API-equivalent dollars, check it, or remove it. These dollars describe what equivalent API calls would cost. They are not a charge to your Claude subscription.

A budget is a guide, not a hard spending limit. Rough session cost estimates and est. savings can change as the session grows.

Subagent tasks

With routing on, IQ Code also sends the scrubbed task text Claude wrote for each subagent task it starts (at most 16,000 characters) and uses a routing decision for it. There is no separate subagent switch. /iq-route off stops it, and /iq-route status checks routing. Subagent-heavy sessions use routing decisions faster.

Read the privacy details before enabling routing.

Read the numbers

All dollar amounts are API-equivalent. Savings are labelled est. Plan readings come from Claude Code; the pace display helps you judge your 5-hour and weekly use. It does not guarantee when your plan will run out.
