Getting started with IQ Routing
Connect a provider, create an IQ API key, and send a test request. You can then use the same key and gateway URL in your app or coding tool.
1. Connect a provider
Open Providers and add an API key from a provider account you already use. Your provider bills that account for model usage. IQ needs at least one connected provider before it can send a request.
Connect a provider2. Get your IQ API key
Open API Keys and create a key for your team. Copy it when it appears; the full key is shown once. This key is separate from your provider key.
Create an IQ API key. If you have no team, create a team first.
3. Confirm it works
On Team, use Send a test request in Integrate to check the connection. On Free, send one request with your IQ key using the Integrate example. If you see a provider key error, return to Providers and confirm your key and provider account are active.
4. Use your tool
Open Integrate, choose your SDK or tool, and copy its gateway URL and example. Replace the example key with your IQ API key. Start with one request and check it in the dashboard.
Troubleshooting
- No provider connected: add a provider key.
- No IQ key: create one for a team. If you have no team, create a team.
- Request declined by a provider: check that provider account's billing and key.
- Need help: include the request ID when contacting support.
